Anne Forbes built MyScience on a simple, unshakable belief: that the scientific community which shaped her own life has a responsibility to reach back and lift up the next generation — not for profit, not for prestige, but for the sheer love of discovery.
Why We’re a Non-Profit
1. Science Belongs to Everyone
We don’t charge teachers for the toolkit. We don’t lock professional learning behind fees. Every resource, every mentor connection, every guide is offered freely because curiosity doesn’t come with a price tag.
2. Every Dollar Goes Back to the Mission
As a registered charity, we don’t have shareholders. Every grant, every donation, every partnership directly funds mentor training, school resources, and the development of new learning pathways for teachers.
3. This Is Anne’s Gift to the Future
Anne isn’t here for fame or fortune. She’s here because a lifetime in science gave her purpose, and MyScience is her way of ensuring that same transformative spark reaches children who might otherwise never experience it.
